FAMILIES HELPING FAMILIES
We will offer our ten week course for families members and friends of those who suffer from mental illness beginning September 16 7:00 p.m. at the Ingham Med Regional Center Orthopedic Hospital (OLD LANSING GENERAL) on Pennsylvania Ave. Topics include: Hope of Recovery, Signs and Symptoms, Medications, Communication, Managing the Stress, and others. Families report that the most important thing is the bond that is built between family members and sharing of experiences. Please call 517 484-3404 or email info@namilansing.org to register.
WEEKLY WALK AND TALK
We walk for exercise and stress relief and share our stories. Meet Friday noon at the corner of Grand and Michigan at the Clock in Wentworth Park. We use the River Trail. We now have two leaders so one of us should be there every week.
Everyone welcome! Call 484-3404 if you need more information.
