ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS – A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.  The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.  There are hundreds of AA meetings in the Lansing area each week.  Visit this website to find local AA meetings or call the Lansing Central Office at 517-377-1444.

Discussion Group for Families of Individuals
with Mental Health Diagnosis
Have you ever felt frustrated, confused, overwhelmed, stressed, sad or powerless because your loved one has a mental health condition? If so, we can help! The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is offering a free support group for people who have a loved one with mental illness such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, anxiety disorders or the co-morbidity of substances.


The group meets in the lower level boardroom at the
Wright Medical Building
215 E. Mansion St.
First Wednesday of each month, from 6:30 – 8 pm. There is no cost to participate and registration is not required 
“While listening to other people’s journey and sharing what my loved one goes through struggling with her mental illness I gained a more positive attitude in dealing with her symptoms that makes our relationship stronger and her less symptomatic.”
