NAMI Lansing's Board Members

Katreva Bisbee, President
Ms. Katreva Bisbee is a dedicated community leader with extensive experience in education, healthcare, and mental health. She excels at guiding others to make wise decisions and navigate their emotions. Katreva connects effortlessly with people of all ages and backgrounds, using her skills in leadership, coaching, program development, and public speaking to make a positive impact.
She is actively involved with NAMI Lansing, currently serving as president. She facilitates signature programs and promotes mental health awareness. Currently, Katreva is pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Organizational Leadership and Behavioral Health, building on her academic achievements at Michigan State University.

Jaideep Singh,
Vice President I
Jaideep Taggart Singh (he/him/his) has been volunteering with NAMI Lansing since October 2023. He first learned about NAMI Lansing at their First Annual Fundraising Benefit in September 2023 and is deeply passionate about the NAMI mission to provide support, education, and advocacy regarding mental health issues. Jaideep has lived experience with a mental health diagnosis as well as loved ones living with a mental health diagnosis. In his day job, he is a scientist and teaches physics at Michigan State University.

Emily White
Vice President II
Emily White recently earned her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law and is preparing for the bar exam. She currently serves as Second Vice President of NAMI Lansing and is part of MSU’s Mental Health Research Connect, where she helps link academic research with real-world mental health needs.
A passionate advocate, Emily coordinates and presents NAMI’s Ending the Silence program and facilitates peer support groups. In recognition of her efforts, she was nominated for NAMI Michigan’s 2025 Youth Advocate of the Year.
Emily lives in Mid-Michigan with her husband, Adam, and their dog, and is devoted to building stronger, more compassionate communities.

Elizabeth Pratt,
Treasurer
Elizabeth Pratt has been a volunteer with NAMI Lansing for nearly 10 years. “I came to NAMI Lansing in despair over the impacts of a loved one’s mental illness,” Elizabeth shared. “In the Family-to-Family class, I found the information I needed to better assist my loved one. The Stigma-Free message resonated with me as I found support for my own mental health challenges and moved into advocacy.”
Elizabeth has served on the NAMI Lansing board in various positions. Currently, as NAMI Lansing Treasurer, she has helped to strengthen and stabilize the organization’s financial management and strategic planning.

Margaret Keeler
Recording Secretary
Margaret Keeler has been involved with NAMI Lansing since 2002, initially joining the family support group to better understand and cope with family members living with mental health conditions. Shortly thereafter, she began helping with family education classes. Over the years, Margaret has held various board positions and deeply values the connections, growth, and friendships she has gained through her involvement with the NAMI Lansing community.

Teresa Ritsema
Member at Large
Teresa Ritsema joined NAMI Lansing during her family member's second hospitalization in 1999. She later joined the Family to Family class and weekly support meetings. Involvement with NAMI Lansing includes signature program facilitation including Family to Family, NAMI Basics, and Family Support Group, and In Our Own Voice. Teresa represented NAMI Lansing during the planning and early years of the first Veteran’s Court and currently serves on the Mental Health Court Team for the 55th District Court. As NAMI Lansing's President in 2005, she attended the NAMI National Convention in Austin, Texas, and became an advocate for Crisis Intervention Teams, now co-chairing the Tri-County C.I.T. Board. She continues to serve as a Board Member at Large for NAMI Lansing.

Jerri Nicole Wright
Member at Large
Jerri Nicole Wright is a dedicated mental health advocate and a founding member of the Consumer Advisory Council of CEI-CMHA. She actively serves as an ambassador and board member of Charter House. Jerri frequently participates in public forums on behavioral health and engages in political advocacy.
For over a decade, she has been involved with NAMI Lansing, serving on the board for eight years. As a presenter and coordinator for the "In Our Own Voice" program, Jerri draws on her experience as a peer support specialist and person in recovery to reduce stigma and enrich the program and reduce stigma around mental health conditions.

Kevin Keeler

Kevin Keeler has been a dedicated member of NAMI Lansing since 2010. Kevin has served in various board roles including NAMI President for 5 years. Kevin has taught the Family-to-Family educational program, facilitated the Family Support Group, and maintained the NAMI Lansing website. His extensive involvement with the organization has significantly enhanced his ability to understand and assist individuals living with mental health conditions, and the people that support them.
