Notes on support groups:

These are self-help groups that follow the NAMI support group models and the principles of support. They are self-help groups based on discussion and acceptance. Facilitators are trained volunteers with lived experience. This is not a treatment program and NAMI Lansing is not liable for any suggestions given.

Observers are not permitted at NAMI support groups. Students and professionals interested in learning more about mental illness, please consider requesting a free presentation of the In Our Own Voice program, in which persons in recovery from mental illness describe their experiences in a structured format development by NAMI. The In Our Own Voice presentation is presented free upon request to local groups, classes, clubs, churches, or businesses. Please contact NAMI Lansing at 517-484-3404 or info@namilansing.org.
